Grieza, a Barcelona-based logistics and logistics staffing company, has been appointed as the new head of logistics at Wests Tigers.
“I am looking forward to working with our senior management team and the entire Wests community to help us make a difference in the lives of the players,” Griezzmann said.
Griezman’s hiring comes after Wests had already announced the appointment of former Bulldogs utility Jack Redden as its new Head of Performance and Performance Engineering.
“Wests is a great place to work and the Wests Tiger Club is proud to welcome Jack to the West Coast,” said Griezman.
The move to hire Griezi came after West’s NRL premiership-winning coach Tony Lockett said the club was “absolutely” looking for a “bigger, better, better” logistics manager.
Griezzman has worked in the recruitment and recruiting sector for five years.
He was the Vice President of Operations at a Brisbane-based financial services company, before he became an independent logistics and recruitment professional in the US in 2009.
He has been a member of the West Australian Government’s Department of Public Works since April 2014.
As part of the deal, Griezer will join Wests’ newly-formed logistics and recruiting team.
