The Avengers: Infinity War will see the characters of the MCU return, with the first official footage showing that the film’s first trailer will include a scene from the blockbuster Avengers: War Machine.
The trailer shows an impressive team of superheroes including the Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, Iron Man, and Thor, and a battle against Thanos.
It’s not clear when the clip will appear, but EW’s sources say that the trailer will feature a “significant” reveal from the film.
“It’s a big reveal, but it’s not in a way that’s going to be spoiler-y,” one of the sources told EW.
“They’re all coming back together.
We’re all going to meet again, but I can’t say for sure what that will be yet.”
The footage also includes the debut of a new version of Captain America who will be voiced by Chris Evans.
The footage was released during the official Avengers: New York Comic Con panel, which saw the reveal of two new teaser images.
One image showed a brand new character, with his face being replaced with the face of Sparro, a character from the Infinity War comics.
The other image showed the new Captain America as he’s in the middle of a battle with Thanos, and in a new outfit that also included a red helmet.
It was revealed at the event that the first footage for the movie will be shot at the start of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but fans have been speculating for weeks whether this will be the case.
The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with James Gunn as the director.
